Sakhikamva College is located in Mthatha region which is in the Eastern Cape Province under the O.R. Tambo District Municipality. The region currently contains the highest concentration of unemployed youth. The aim of the College is to uplift the region by offering the best quality educational services to empower the youth to become independent once they complete their studies at our College and be able to start their own businesses or become highly effective employees and business owners.

Sakhikamva College (Pty) Ltd is registered as a private College with The Department of Higher Education & Training (DHET) under the Continuing Education and Training Colleges Act 16, of 2006 (Reg No. 2018/FE07/041) to offer Vocational Education, Training and Development programmes. The College is fully accredited by The Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO), Accreditation Number SDP 1222/17/00311 until 11 August 2022 to offer Report 191/Nated Programmes N4-N6, the College is in the process of finalizing its accreditation process with Umalusi to offer N1-N3 Programmes and various SETA’s such as Services SETA, PSETA and FP&M SETA.

The College currently operates from one campus in Mthatha and there are plans to spread in other regions where there is a limited number of Colleges in order to bring quality education services closer to those areas.

The Report 191/Nated Programmes which our College offers are designed to provide both the theory and practice of the specific programme. The practical component of the study will be offered in the workplace environment and will provide students with the opportunity to experience real work situations during their period of study.
